Sun, sea, sand, and… Kempo
Some of our teachers and senior students travelled recently to Cyprus for the International Kempo Association Busen Academy. This six-day training event is designed to level up our senior members, filling them with enthusiasm and new ideas to bring back to the dojo.

Last weekend the British Shorinji Kempo Federation descended en masse on Holborn in London for the annual Winter Training Seminar. We packed out the venue to spend the weekend learning from the best in the country.
BSKF All Grade Seminar
Bristol Dojo had the pleasure of hosting the British Shorinji Kempo Federation for an all-grade seminar last weekend. Students from across the country gathered to learn from a selection of the best teachers in the federation, including the Chief Instructor of the BSKF.

50 years ago, Shorinji Kempo arrived from Japan to the UK, and the organisation that we now know as the BSKF was formed. Last weekend we celebrated that fact with a four day extravaganza of training, competition, gradings and parties.
